The Nutrition Group

In the Nutrition Group we learn about the Food Groups and what we need for a balanced meal. We learn to read food labels, found out what sodium was, how to read the serving size on a package. We made healthy snacks like fruit smoothies, ants  in a blanket, and tried Kiwi and Pomegranate.
Here are some of our recipes.

Fruit smoothies:
1 Large container of lowfat yogurt.
1 cup of ice
1 cup of strawberries
1 banana
Put it in a blender and blend. Enjoy

Ants in a log.
Cabbage
Natural peanut butter
raisins
Spread peanut butter on the leaf of cabbage
Sprinkle raisins
Roll the leaf of cabbage up
Enjoy
