Use refillable water bottles.
Use a cloth napkin
Use reusable containers for your lunch instead of a baggie.
Buy big bags of chips and put them into reusable containers.
Eat fresh fruit and vegetables.
Save the peels for Ms. Shaw to compost.
NO LUNCHABLES!!!
Don’t buy Capri Sun, It can’t be recycled.
Save your soda tops for Ms. Cooper
Save your Lays potato chip bags for Ms. Cooper

Green your classroom!

Shut of the computers at the end of the day.
Turn the faucet off in the bathroom.
Turn the water on low when you wash your hands.
Put paper and cardboard in the recycling bin.
Keep tissues out of  the recycling bin.
Use both sides of your paper.
Keep a pile of scrap paper for writing on.
Keep a  box of scrap construction paper
Do projects using the scrap construction paper.
Use a hand pencil sharpener to save electricity.
Use your pencil until it is gone.

You can be green!

Recycle your old uniforms. Turn them in to PTA and they will share the uniform with a younger student.
Reuse your old backpack.
Think before you throw things away. Can you recycle it? Someone else might like to use it.
Donate toys and clothes to Goodwill or another charity.
Are you tired of a toy or a book? Swap it with a friend.
Come to Nova's Book Swap on Friday mornings and afternoons to get a new book!

Recycling

Recycling paper, water bottles, Lays potato chip bags, Pop Tops. Students and teachers save their paper  and put it out on  Monday  after school. Members of the recycling team collect the paper and put it in the dumpster. Ms. Cooper collects lays potato   chips bags [lays,sun chips] send it to Terra cycle to be made into bags and other items.
